FPSO Armada Kraken Leaves Shipyard for Deep Water Anchorage

Offshore Fleet NewsBumi Armada Berhad, Malaysia-based international offshore energy facilities and services provider is pleased to announce that the Armada Kraken Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (“FPSO”) has completed its shore-based commissioning activities at the quayside in Singapore and has a lso completed the vessel’s inclination testing programme.

The FPSO has left the yard and is now sailing to deep water anchorage, to undertake commissioning work on the water injection pumps, HSP power fluid umps, sulphate reduction packages, lifeboats an d fire, water and deluge systems.

The FPSO is on schedule to sail away to the Kraken field in the North Sea this quarter as planned.

The journey from Singapore to the Kraken field is xpected to take approximately 50 days and the unit is expected to deliver first oil in first half of 2017.
