SSV "Ocean Dolphin" delivered

SALT 405 Seismic Support Vessel ‘Ocean Dolphin’ has been delivered from Cemre Shipyard, and has entered directly into a 5-year Time Charter for Dolphin Geophysical AS.

Ocean Dolphin was delivered from Cemre shipyard in Turkey on 11 August.  The Ocean Dolphin is a purpose built, high capacity seismic support vessel, developed in cooperation by Salt and Vestland Offshore.

The vessel is the first of two seismic support vessels ordered by Norfield back in December 2013.

The Bureau Veritas-classed SVV has a length of 69,8 meters a width of 17 meters and it can accommodate up to 60 persons.

The SALT 450 SSV design has a HFO/MDO cargo capacity of 2,000m3, working deck area of 500m2, and a bollard pull of 55 tonnes.
