SEA INSTALLER - last turbine on Borkum Riffgrund 1 |

On Friday 22 May 2015, A2SEA’s installation vessel SEA INSTALLER succesfully installed the last turbine on DONG Energy’s Borkum Riffgrund in the German part of the North Sea. A total of 78 Siemens 4.0MW turbines have been installed by SEA INSTALLER. The installation went according to plan. Malte C. Bruun, Master on board SEA INSTALLER was very satisfied after the operation:
“On behalf of SEA INSTALLER, I am glad to inform you the BKR01 project is completed. Last blade on WTG no. 78, M02 was installed 22-05-2015 22:23.
It has been a pleasure to see all involved parties work towards the common goal of completing the BKR project in a safe and efficient manner. Installation times have been decreasing steadily as weather has improved over the spring time and beginning of summer”.
