Pioneering Spirit (Crane ship, pipelay)

Pioneering Spirit (ex Pieter Schelte) is the largest construction vessel in the world. She was specially designed for the single-lift installation and removal of large oil and gas platforms and the installation of record-weight pipelines. Vessel is equipeed with dynamic positioning system class 3 Kongsberg K-Pos DP-22 and 2 x cJoy system. Accomodation for 571 persons. Vessel was built in South Korea by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in period from 2011 to 2014.
